The inspiration for this post came a couple a days ago when i went out to a club with my friends and i noticed a lot of the girls had on the same shoes! I recognized all of the shoes from Bakers and it got a little annoying knowing that all of these ladies paid the same $149 dollars for the particular pair of shoes i just kept on seeing. Don't get me wrong, the shoes where hot... but I think i can offers some other shoe brands with the same price tag!

TADASHI SHOJI FOR THE WIN

Octavia Spencer has been looking amazing at the pasted award shows and we all owe a big thank you to American Fashion Designer Tadashi Shoji! Ms. Spencer has worn gowns from this designer to the SAG Awards and the Oscars, where she won best supporting actress for "The Help" at both award shows. Tadashi Shoji is such an amazing designer! I hope to see Octavia Spencer front row at the his Fall 2012 Collection in September! Tadashi Shoji is one of my ten favorite designers so I can not wait to see more from this designer! Ashanti and Michelle Williams look flawless, Both in Falguni and Shane Peacock dresses! I really love Michelle Williams dress, it so Fashion Forward and super sexy. Falguni and Shane Peacock are definitely a designer to look out for in the future! The design for the confident woman, the one who is willing to take risks so expect to see celebrities in these dresses this year! 

MBFW DAY 1 BCBGMAXAZRIA

I LOVE BCBGMAXAZRIA! Sitting front row at one of there runway shows during Fashion Week is on my Fashion Bucket List! BCBGMAXAZRIA does beautiful, magical things with color blocking! This collection was no exception, the dresses looked great coming down the runway! The third look down was my favorite look of the collection! I love a pant that moves, its so powerful to me. The color blocked Trench Coat was a strong way to start the show and i really appreciate how the carried the handbags down the runway tucked into there hand! That is a trend i would love to see on the streets and i like the use of fur within the collection. To me it gave the collection a bit of a street edge.
