Mens Fashion Would You Splurge: Marc Jacobs

So Ive decided to commit to atleast 3 mens post a week because the two mens test posts I did on my blog recieved more view on the days they were posted than the ladies posts so this is my first official mens blog post! The amount of money men will spend to stand out and be different is ridiclous, most men who make an effort to dress nice spend just as much as ladies so "Would You Splurge" post are perfect for the guy.

Today we have Lightweight Color-Blocked Cardigans from Marc by Marc Jacobs. If you do not know, Marc Jacobs is arguably the best American Designer showing at #NYFW; He is a genius in the fashion industry, looked up to and swooned over by many. As for the cardigans, every man should own a cardigan, its like the more relaxed verison of the blazer in my opinion but you can still wear one to the office or a casual event.

The first cardigan you see is $298 dollars while the second one is $228 (Yes they are different cardigans)

Color blocking is on trend for both the ladies and men this season. Guys dont be scared of color and stepping outside your comfort zone. The cardigan with the pink in it might be alittle much for some but it would go perfect with a pair of brown loafers or oxfords and if your a sneaker guy a pair of Navy Blue Vans will be a good choice with a pair of cargos.

From The Runway To The Streets: Sachin + Babi

More than half of the pictures that i use for my blog come straight off the runway from http://www.style.com/ and lets be honest, we all cant afford looks right off to runway so with that in mind i came up with "From The Runway To The Streets"!



Todays look comes from American Fashion Designer Sachin + Babi! This look is from there Spring 2012 collection and although  it is very simple it is one of my favorite looks within the collection!

The Shirt: Is clearly a plain white shirt but have fun with the material! Go fashion forward with a wet suit, leather or sheer Sleeveless.. or the classic cotton or jersey. I picked this white shirt that is slightly sheer from H&M for only $9.95

The Skirt: You want to Find a black skirt that hits the knee, but if you want to go a little shorter then thats fine. The most important part of this look is that the black skirt flares out! I picked this wet suit material skirt also from H&M for $49.95

The Shoes: I am not a personal fan of white shoes even though i like the shoes in the Sachin + Babi collection! I couldn't find the perfect white shoes... so i chose these really chic Marc by Marc Jacobs pumps for $2951 You can find these pumps on Piperlime and Lord & Taylors, and of course the official Marc Jacobs Website

THE COUTURE HAS ARRIVED!!!

OK well not really, but i just find it kind of cool that I've made two designer purchases during Fashion Week. I Brought Rain Boots From Marc by Marc Jacobs. These Boots are Black and Neon Orange; the orange doesn't look so neon in person so that was perfect and they were one of Marc Jacobs Special Items so they was only 10 DOLLARS!!! Make Sure you go take a look at some of his other special items for some affordable prices at THE OFFICIAL MARC JACOBS WEBSITE. The other thing that i brought was a Michael Kors Watch from the Michael Kors Store in our Mall. Michael Kors watches are beautiful and all of my favorite bloggers have one, So i decided to Purchase one of my own! I use the gift card i told you about in one of my earlier posts.
